As this goes live I will hopefully be enjoying some Autumn sun, somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean! So, it’s long-distance wild wishes from me this week, and welcome to Country Kids, the outdoor family linky co-hosted by Louise from Little Hearts Big Love, Helena from Queen of Collage and me at Kids of the Wild.
We’ve taken over Country Kids from Coombe Mill Farm’s fabulous Fiona and hope to maintain this lovely community of outdoor family bloggers to share activities and inspiration and help get you and the kids outdoors more.

This Week at Kids of the Wild
This week we’ve abandoned the chilly Autumn air that swung in at the end of September to get a last week of warmth away from the UK before settling towards our winter hibernation. We’ll (hopefully) be enjoying the sun in Europe’s ‘Floating Garden’ where there are so many outdoor things to experience we’ll probably return home exhausted! Here’s a photo from the blog of a moment of stillness at a local beach before we went away… where will your solitude find you this week?
