Are you ready to get the family outdoors over the Easter holidays? What fabulous mini adventures have you got planned? What will you spot in the great outdoors this year?
Kids of the Wild has been a little quiet recently but we’re now back in the fast lane and raring to go, with exciting projects, news and outdoor family fun to share with you in the coming weeks.
To spur us all into getting outside this Spring, I’ve teamed up with i-Spy books from Harper Collins/Michelin, to offer one lucky reader this brilliant Easter giveaway prize.
It’s perfect to encourage the whole family to have fun outdoors in nature, spotting new and unusual things along the way.

We love i-spy books, always good to have one in my bag when we’re off on an adventure #countrykids
I love them too, I’ve still got my childhood I-Spy books!
We have some of these books already. A great thing to keep in your outdoor pack #countrykids
Totally agree, they’re perfectly sized and lightweight for backpacks and a lot of fun out and about.
We have some of these books already. A great item to keep in your outdoor bag #countrykids
These are great. My youngest son would love these. He’s very into bugs and all things outdoors. #countrykids
Fab, fingers crossed if you’ve entered!
We have a few of these and Sophie loves using them to help identify some of the things we find when out and about. They’re such a fun way of encouraging kids to look around them a little more. #CountryKids
We love i-Spy books, I’ve had them since I was a child and my Dad too. 3 generations of outdoor spotters! Thanks for sharing
Loving the look of these little books! x
They’re great, well worth trying if you’ve not used them before. There are all sorts from UK cities to boat trips, creepy crawlies to camping, aeroplanes to gardening. Thanks for reading, hope you and Penguin are well
I loved these as a kid. My dad always bought them for trips away to keep us busy. We even completed a few. Another couple of years till Alice is ready for them but I do use the nature ones in school. Though this only causes frustration that we don’t have all the mini beasts in our outdoor area.
They’re brilliant aren’t they, such a simple idea really and great for school use too. I still have all my old ones from childhood. My Dad did them in the ’50s too; if only he’d kept them!
